View billing information concerning Illinois State University tuition and fees for the 2022-23 academic year. Tuition and mandatory fees have been set regardless of the mode of instruction and cover a variety of short- and long-term expenses which continue regardless of the instructional mode or access to campus facilities. The mode of instruction may be adjusted. Tuition and fees will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely or the mode of instruction changes for any part of the 2022-23 academic year. Illinois State University will continue to follow published withdrawal and refund policies concerning tuition and fees.

  • Fall 2022 Payment Plan

    • Everyone will be automatically placed into a payment plan as an option for payment. If you register after Sept 06, 2022, you can set up the payment plan online.
    • Covers only Fall 2022 charges*.
    • $35.00 Payment Plan Fee charged for the fall semester if paying monthly.
    • If account is paid in full by October 14, 2022, no payment plan fee will be charged.

    *Please Note: Study Abroad charges are billed and due by the due date stated on the bill and are not eligible for the payment plan each semester.

  • Fall 2022 Refunds

    • Refunds for Fall 2022 financial aid/over payment begins Friday, August 19, 2022. For students receiving a refund, an email will be sent to the student's ilstu.edu email address with information regarding whether the refund will be sent direct deposit or if the student will have to pick the check up in the Student Accounts Office.
    • For Parent PLUS loan refunds please refer to the Refund page for more details.
    • Refunds are generated weekly so any aid not yet processed will be issued in the next refund run when it is available. You can view your account from your My.IllinoisState.edu portal.

  • 2021 1098-T Forms

    The 2021 1098-T tax form is now available online in the Student Portal. How to View 1098-T Online. For those students who opted into the paper version, paper copies have been mailed to the same address as billing statements. Students have access to a copy of their current and prior year 1098-T forms online through their Student Service Center. Click on the Tax Credit tab at the top for more information.
